This Summer School will will focus on cutting-edge microbial technologies for a sustainable industrial future and involve a combination of formal lectures, brainstorming sessions, problem-solving exercises and will finish with a small-group project design competition.

The FEMS Science Communication Award is a biennial award that recognizes Europe-based microbiologists at any stage of their career that apply science communications and public relations to contribute significantly to the public discourse about science and evidence.

Applications for our Meeting Attendance Grants close on 1 March! These grants enable early career researchers to attend microbiology meetings worldwide with the financial support of FEMS (max support €750).

We also have other grants too, with two application rounds every year: Meeting Organizer Grants: 1 June, Research and Training Grants: 1 July, Industry Placement Grants: 1 Aug

We are proud to announce that Prof. Gad Frankel is joining as the fourth Editor-in-Chief of our Journal Pathogens and Disease. Prof Frankel is based as the Imperial College London (UK) and specializes in molecular pathogenesis of gram-negative bacterial pathogens and antimicrobial resistance.
