FEMS-Lwoff Award for Achievements in Microbiology

The FEMS-Lwoff award recognises outstanding microbiologists whose world-class research has advanced microbial knowledge to help address important societal challenges.

Nominations for the FEMS-Lwoff Award are open until 30 September. More information on the next nomination cycle is coming soon.

FEMS Outstanding Early Career Microbiologist Award

The Outstanding Early Career Microbiologist Award recognises excellence in microbiology for those starting their career in science. The award rewards Early Career Researchers that have realised an excellent body of (published) research and research potential and provides support to attend the FEMS MICRO: Congress & Exhibition. The nomination can be based on a single exceptionally significant achievement or the aggregate of a number of exemplary achievements.
